The S-Etukortti barcode in S-mobiili lets you earn Bonus, get member benefits and digital receipts without your physical card. You can't use the barcode for payment, and it doesn't work yet at self-service checkouts or hotels.
What is the S-Etukortti barcode?
You'll find the S-Etukortti barcode in the S-Etukortti section of S-mobiili. It's especially useful if you don't carry your physical S-Etukortti card with you.
The barcode gives you almost the same benefits as your physical S-Etukortti:
Up to 5% cashback
Member benefits
Digital receipts and warranty receipts
We're rolling out the S-Etukortti barcode in phases. We aim to expand the feature in the future.
Where can't I use the S-Etukortti barcode?
You can't use the S-Etukortti barcode yet at self-service checkouts or hotels.
Why did I get a paper receipt even though I've chosen paperless service?
For technical reasons, paper receipts print for all purchases when you use the S-Etukortti barcode.
Do I get card payment cashback with the S-Etukortti barcode?
Yes. You earn the 0.5% card payment cashback when you pay with your physical S-Etukortti Visa card or with S-Etukortti Visa through Google Pay or Apple Pay (except at Food Market Herkku).
Can I pay with the S-Etukortti barcode?
No. Pay for your purchases however you like: with a payment card, cash, gift card or mobile payment app like Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Which phones can use the S-Etukortti barcode?
All iPhone and Android users can use the S-Etukortti barcode if they can use S-mobiili.
How do I redeem a mobile coupon when using the S-Etukortti barcode?
Redeem your mobile coupon normally:
Show the open coupon at checkout
Click "Redeem coupon" before you pay
Use the coupon either before or after showing the S-Etukortti barcode
Does my phone need to be connected to the internet?
Yes. You need to be able to sign in to S-mobiili, where you'll find the S-Etukortti barcode. You can't do this without an internet connection.
