Updated 2 months ago
S-Tili is S-Bank's free transaction account where Bonus, Fuel bonus, and card payment cashback are paid automatically. Co-op members and all their household members can open the account. Check your balance and transactions in online banking, S-mobiili, or at an S-Etukortti terminal.
What is S-Tili and who can open it?
S-Tili is S-Bank's transaction account. As a co-op member, you can set your S-Tili as your benefits payment account. Your cash member benefits will then be transferred there:
Bonus
Fuel bonus
Card payment cashback
You can pay for purchases from the account with your S-Etukortti debit card. You can check transactions in online banking and S-mobiili.
Who can open S-Tili?
Co-op members
All members of their household
For minors, the account is opened by their guardians
S-Tili has no monthly or annual fees for co-op members and all members of the same household. You can have multiple S-Tili accounts. You can also grant access rights to S-Tili to other people.

Where can I see my S-Tili transactions and balance?
You can check your S-Tili balance or transactions:
1. In online banking and S-mobiili
In S-Bank's online banking and S-mobiili, when you have S-Bank credentials. Read more here.
2. At an S-Etukortti terminal
At S-Etukortti terminals in S Group stores, you can check with your S-Etukortti card and customer code:
Your benefits payment account balance
The five most recent transactions
Your account number
To use the S-Etukortti terminal, you need a customer code, which you can find at S-Etukortti.fi.
Note! The S-Etukortti terminal shows account information only to the account holder. If you have a parallel card and access rights to the account, you can check the account balance in S-Bank's online banking or S-mobiili.
3. At a Service and bank point
You can also check your account information at a Service and bank point.
Why do I receive Bonus only to an S-Bank account?
According to a decision by the co-op's board, S-Bank pays cash benefits. You need an account at S-Bank to receive Bonus and other cash member benefits. All new co-op members get an account at S-Bank. Without an account, you cannot receive Bonus or other cash benefits.
Why is this sensible for co-op members?
Paying benefits to an S-Bank account is easy and sensible for co-op members:
Bonus transferred to the account doesn't expire or disappear
Bonus earns interest in the account
S-Bank accounts have no annual or monthly fees for co-op members
Why can't Bonus be transferred to a bank other than S-Bank?
Paying Bonus and other cash benefits to an account at S Group's own financial institution is clearly the most cost-effective way for the co-op to pay benefits to co-op members. S Group always aims for the most cost-effective processes so that co-op members benefit as much as possible.
Transferring Bonus to other banks' accounts would require changes to systems and cause additional costs.
