Add student status in S-mobiili or at S-Etukortti.fi with your university email address. You'll receive content and benefits targeted to students. Remember to renew your status every September.

How do I add student status?

Add student status like this:

  1. Sign in with your S-tunnus

  2. Go to Co-op membership > Membership details

  3. Enter your university email address

In S-mobiili:

  1. Open Me > Profile > Membership details

  2. Enter your university email address

You'll receive a confirmation message to your university email. Click the link in the message to activate your student status.

S Group does not store your university email address.

How do I benefit from adding student status?

As a student, you'll receive content targeted to you:

  • In S-mobiili

  • At S-Etukortti.fi

  • On Yhteishyvä.fi

The content comes from S Group and its partners.

Who can add S Group student status to their profile?

Student status can be added by:

  • All co-op members studying at Finnish universities

  • All co-op members studying at universities of applied sciences

  • Household members

Why do I need my university email address?

The email address is only used to verify your student status. The address is not stored in your profile.

Do I need to renew student status myself, or does it remain valid automatically until graduation?

Student status is valid for one academic year at a time.

Renew it every September at the start of the academic year. You'll receive a renewal request to the email address you've registered with your S-tunnus.

How can I use my co-op member benefits?

Scan your S-Etukortti whenever you shop at S Group locations.

This way you'll get all your co-op member benefits.
