You can earn Bonus with an S-Etukortti in Apple Wallet and pay with any payment method, including another bank's card. S-Etukortti also works at self-service checkouts and doesn't require an internet connection.

How to register Bonus: it's easy

By double-clicking the Home or Side button on your iPhone or Apple Watch and authenticate with Apple Wallet.

2. Hold near the terminal

Hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near the payment terminal reader. The terminal will confirm when S-Etukortti has been read.

Can I use Kerää & skannaa with S-Etukortti in Apple Wallet?

Yes, you can. You can activate the scanner as follows:

  • Double-click the Home/Side button on your iPhone or Apple Watch and authenticate in Apple Wallet

  • Hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near the NFC reader and keep it in place until the scanner is released

  • You don’t need to select the S-Etukortti separately, as long as automatic selection is enabled in the card settings in the Wallet

How do I pay with Apple Pay if I don't want to earn Bonus on a purchase, for example when paying with a company card?

If you don't want to earn Bonus on a particular purchase, you can change your S-Etukortti settings before paying:

  1. Open S-Etukortti (Bonus) in Apple Wallet

  2. Go to card details via the three dots in the top right corner

  3. Turn off "Automatic Selection"

  4. Exit the view and pay with your preferred payment card using Apple Pay

  5. Change the setting back so Bonus is registered automatically next time

Does S-Etukortti from Apple Wallet work at self-service checkouts?

Yes. S-Etukortti from Apple Wallet also works at self-service checkouts.

Does my iPhone or Apple Watch need to be connected to the internet to use S-Etukortti from Apple Wallet?

No. S-Etukortti is read from Apple Wallet using NFC technology between the payment terminal and your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Can I earn Bonus with S-Etukortti in Apple Wallet even when I want to pay for my purchase with another bank's card?

Yes, you can. The S-Etukortti needed for earning Bonus and the S-Etukortti Visa used for payment are two separate cards in Apple Wallet.

You can earn Bonus with S-Etukortti in Apple Wallet and pay with:

  • Cash

  • Gift card

  • Another payment card in Apple Wallet

Note! When you pay with an S-Bank payment card at S Group locations, you get 0.5% card payment cashback on top of your Bonus, also through Apple Pay.
